My Brothers Eye

How dare you take the splinter out of your brothers eye when you have a log in your own. First remove the log in your own eye so you may see clearly to take the splinter out of your brothers. ~ paraphrased by Jim K. of the San Juan

Think About It . . . Philosophies

Yoga is about connection, harnessing and yoking all the energetic forces we live within. Yoga is not confined to just the physical exercises and practices. The literal translation is to couple and join together. Yoga is about developing a higher awareness and bringing together all elements of our form. In yoga there is not one path, but many paths to attain peace. Yoga allows for the connecting and unifying differences of opinion, religion, spirituality, lifestyles and customs. With time people have created limits and standards to follow. Simplifying the definition creates an open atmosphere for merging beliefs. Here find links to almost all different forms of philosophies written within our life. There are more philosophies written, but we have chosen some of our favourites that have stories to speak for all. We have remained open in our choosing and are willing to receive more suggestions. Email if you suggest additional works of art that you think should be listed here. As for what is posted, we hope you enjoy these philosophies. Some of the links open to the full books and or articles. They are monitored, some are downloadable for free and all definitely worth the read. May we suggest starting with Herman Hessee’s Siddartha. The story of a young man on a journey to ultimately find himself.

LET OUR RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCE NOT INTERFERE WITH OUR CONNECTION HERE ON EARTH ~ Morissa Lazar
